What we do

Global Education Designs' (GED) principal activity is to custom design, organise and manage a range of study abroad programs for American universities and colleges who send groups of their students to study in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Region. GED works in close association with client institutions to design and deliver programs which meet each client's specific educational and budgetary objectives.

In addition to group programs for client institutions, GED custom-designs internship placements for individual students and professionals from around the world through the affiliated company, Global Internship Services.

GED is pleased to offer a service which is truly tailored to the needs and specifications of our clients and which provides clients with the flexibility to decide the content, format, timing, duration and location of their study abroad programs. GED's service is comprehensive, going beyond the initial design phase to include all aspects of academic, logistic and administrative organisation as well as day-to-day management of programs.

GED is an Australian-owned international education consultancy with more than 20 years' experience in the design and delivery of quality study abroad programs for overseas universities and colleges.

GED began its operations in 1985, offering study abroad programs in Australia with a focus on field research and hands-on learning for undergraduate biology students. Since then, we have developed programs that encompass a broader range of academic disciplines and that take place also in New Zealand and the Pacific Region. GED maintains its commitment to providing students of all disciplines with opportunities for field-based study and practical learning experiences.
