Special Interest Study Tours

Australia, New Zealand and other countries in the South Pacific region offer unique opportunities for those who are interested in learning about the natural world and the cultures of other people. Members of clubs, associations, alumni groups, and other organisations can explore these themes through study tours, prepared by GED to meet each group's particular special interests.

For example, GED designed and delivered a faculty study tour for Carleton College (Minnesota, USA), which explored the natural environment, human history, culture and art of Australia over a four week period. The tour visited Sydney, Brisbane, Lamington National Park, the Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest, the Undara Lava Tubes, Darwin, Kakadu National Park, Alice Springs and Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park.
